I brought my camera to Homer and Bridget's wedding reception and decided to just use ambient light and my 50mm 1.8 lens. This picture was taken from the back deck through a window just before they cut the wedding cake.

The left's view of Sarah Palin from last night....

While eating dinner with some friends last night, I was struck by some comments of a left-leaning friend, who had previously not supported Obama at all because of HIS "lack of experience" say that because of Palin's "lack of experience" McCain had succeeded in getting one more vote for Obama...her's. Amazing, since Obama has been a senator (without executive power) just about as long as Palin has been governor of Alaska.

Before you ask, she was not in the mood to discuss the issue, so I was not able to ask her to compare and contrast the experience level of a first-term senator versus a first-term governor.
